HOOLIGAN RACES
PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY
Tuesday October 6th was a wild night at the races. The Speed Merchant put on a Hooligan Flat Track Race on the Perris Speedway 1/2 mile track at the Southern California Fair. It was a killer night, the track was in great condition and everyone was flying. Every class had a prize purse so the racing was intense, a little to intense in the final of the Hooligan class when our buddies Shaun Guardado and Helder Alvernaz locked up in turn one and went down. The night ended on that with a couple broken bones, some separated shoulders, little bit of blood, and some serious whiplash. But they’ll both be back, can’t wait for the next race.
